Super Anime Fest hosts Amarillo’s first Super Mini-Con

Super Anime Fest is inviting the surrounding area to its first-ever Amarillo Super Mini-Con, to be held Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Regency Room inside the Amarillo Civic Center Complex, located at 401 S. Buchanan St.

The mini-con will host approximately 60 booths, including cosplay contests, guest panelists, and 30 vendors selling a variety of items such as Funko Pops, cards, comic books, collectibles and more. The booths range from all areas of interest, including sports, anime, handmade crafts, comics and sci-fi.

“We try to keep it as affordable as possible just so that everyone has the opportunity to attend and enjoy, so ticket pricing is $10, and we tried to include a variety of vendors. Hopefully there will be something for everyone,” said Geoff Cupit, owner of Super Anime Fest.
